| June 16-17, 2008 OLI Training in Houston Join instructors AJ and Pat at an OLI Houston training June 16-17, 2008. We are offering training in ScaleChem and the Analyzers. This is a combination of a brief ScaleChem Mechanics course followed by our Analyze- based Electrolyte Modeling Basics course. Day 1 : June 16: AM: Mineral scale prediction using ScaleChem This course is open to interested clients or prospective clients who are based in Texas. The training assumes that you have had little or no previous OLI simulation experience. The fee for each day is $125, or $250 for both days. In applications-oriented lecture / practice sessions, attendees will learn a variety of simulation "tricks of the trade" as well as techniques for using the OLI software. |

This agenda is a change from our original announcement of the course, and is based on client feedback and preferences. Please let us know of your specific interest and whether you will be attending one or both days. If you are not sure whether you have software access to both packages, please let us know! Also, if you are INTERESTED in an evaluation copy of one of these packages, we can arrange that as well. One-day attendance: $125 If you have already signed up for both days and want to change your enrollment, please just let Deb know and we will work out the details. If you are part of the upstream, we encourage you to attend both days if possible to get a sense of the type of value-added OLI can bring to your case studies. Here is a link to our our upstream production technology brochure for your review: OLI Upstream Production Chemistry 30-day evaluation copies of the software will be supplied for those who are not currently OLI clients. The course will be held at Shell's office at Woodcreek and begins on Monday morning at 8am. Coffee breaks and lunch will be provided. OLI is waiving the regular course tuition and therefore no course credits are needed / taken for this course. The $125 / day fee will defray course expenses. Space is limited for the course to 16 attendees on each day, and early registration for this training is recommended. Plan on bringing any application questions you have with you!
